Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source reliable suppliers for materials, equipment, and services, evaluating them based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepare, process, and track purchase orders, maintaining accurate records of all procurement transactions.
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with internal teams to meet material requirements, and plan for timely stock replenishment.
  • Regularly assess supplier performance and promptly address delivery, quality, or pricing issues.
  • Collaborate with project, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with organizational goals, project timelines, and budgets.
  • Analyze procurement costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and prepare detailed reports on activities and supplier performance.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on trends, pricing, and new suppliers, ensuring competitiveness and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards while mitigating risks like supply chain disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process monthly payroll, including calculating deductions, overtime, bonuses, allowances, and other components, while verifying timesheets, leave, and attendance records.
  • Ensure timely payroll disbursement in compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Handle and ensure accurate calculation and submission of statutory contributions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB.
  • Stay informed about updates to Sarawak Labour Ordinance, statutory contributions, and tax regulations affecting payroll.
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential employee records in the payroll system, ensuring compliance with the Malaysian PDPA.
  • Update payroll records for new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and employee status changes.
  • Address employee inquiries related to salary, deductions, taxes, and payroll matters, collaborating with HR, finance, and accounts to resolve discrepancies and escalations.
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports, statutory submissions, and other required reports, while conducting regular payroll audits for accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
  • Recommend and implement payroll process improvements and system updates, staying informed about industry best practices for efficient payroll management.
